Good points
Apparently weightless, no wire to catch on furniture, convenient charging cradle, two-control simplicity, fine sound quality.
Bad points Unfortunately, radio range is less than half that of cordless handsets. We need repeaters to extend the range to our remote greenhouses. Better tips on making outgoing calls would have helped. a) It's actually dead simple if you dial out from a handset that is NOT a cordless (or at least not on the same base station as the headset). Once dialled, you can just press the button on this headset and put down the phone you dialled out from. b) BUT, if starting from a cordless on the same basestation, in addition you first have to press intercomm and key the (one-digit) headset number. Either transfer can be completed while still ringing. Other thoughts Altho marked down on ease of use because of reduced range, outgoing calls are simple enough once you know the easy way. So all-in-all it's become indispensible in our house and garden.

I recently purchased the Plantronics C65 Dect Headset, and am very pleased with the reception and also the long range, as I have a workshop below my shop this means when I have a customer in the shop the reception does not appear to break up when I go upstairs, also a cordless one stops you catching on to objects so hopefully the product will last a lot longer than the previous corded one. The service and advice given to my wife (doing the research) was excellent nothing seemed to much trouble. Thankyou. Zhanna

Very comfortable and clear. Registered two headsets to the same base station. Transferring calls is easy just pick up on one headset and hang up on the other. Only small downside, headset does not ring for incoming calls. |
