About IDS
IDS UK is a leading distributor of IT products as well as telecoms, computer hardware and digital photography products from various manufacturers including HP, Epson, BT, Samsung, Canon, Samsung and Philips. The company is an offshoot of ITO Distribution Systems of Taiwan. Prior to the establishment of IDS, the company started out as the authorized dealers for BT (British Telecoms) and Betacom. They still maintain exclusive distributorship for ink cartridges, toners and thermal ribbons for BT and have also added Belkin and Olivetti, Epson, Canon, Hewlett Packard and nearly all other makers of ink consumables. The company also maintains sister companies in Sweden, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Belgium, Holland and Jersey.
IDS Distribution was founded in 1999, with initial ventures into telecoms products, such as fax machines, digital, cordless and corded phones. Their eventual success has now been extended into laptops, printers and digital cameras, particularly into retail and home shopping channels. They also carry a wide range of brands from stock along with a multitude of compatible and allow them to deliver the widest possible range of products at competitive prices.
