For consumers, basically, it’s not just going to a war unprepared. It’s going to the wrong war altogether. Settling on a tech purchase forces consumers to join in on a dispute that most of them are greatly ill-prepared to handle, especially in view of the fact that so many phones bring exhibit nothing more than the talents of a sham performer. The truth of their effectiveness, of their functionality, are well concealed behind mere hype.
The only possible chance for safety from and improvement of such misfortunes is for phone companies to launch digital products that are well-deserving of the attentions of consumers instead of telephone systems that do nothing to improve upon the human condition, phones that only depend on the thrill or status quotient to secure sales. Enough with the exaggerations. Give consumers the truth.
