Plantronics Audio 45 USB entry-level headset

Plantronics is offering not only high-end headset to its PC-using customers but entry-level headsets also. The Plantronics Audio 45 USB Headset is a headset that answers everything that those new to USB headsets will need.

The headsets is designed to be lightweight and this means that the headset will not become too heavy after long hours of use. The hypoallergenic soft foam ear cushions found on the earphones also enhance comfort. The microphone boom is telescoping, allowing users to correct the position it properly so that their voice will come out as clear when in use.

Along with these conveniences, the Audio 45 comes with an optional USB dongle that helps make installation easier and simpler. Instead of having to look at the back of the computer for the headphone and microphone sockets, the microphone may be attached directly to a USB port. This also works as an extension for the 2.9metere cable. The cable can also be found on the Audio 60 and Audio 90 above designs.

For an entry-level unit, the Plantronics Audio 45 is lightweight, has good quality sound, soft foam ear cushions, and mute and volume controls, all of which make the Audio 45 good compared to other headsets of its level. The headphone speakers may appear as large for some people but the quality that they pack is not to be scoffed at.
