Polycom has been considered as a giant in the industry. In fact, it would not be such a surprise if only a few people do not know Polycom.

You see, this California based company boasts that this new one is a “high definition voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) phone”.

Of course, if you were the brain and the manufacturer behind a really advanced and high technology product, you surely would want to be proud of it and boast about it until everybody in the industry knows what your product is. And if Polycom continues to do so, the SoundPoint IP 650 would be just like the SE-P31SP USB Desk Phone when it comes to popularity.

However, sure enough. A Polycom product would certainly not fail the standards that has already been set by the market. And, in fact, it is very much likely that this new Polycom VoIP phone would be the standard when it comes to VoIP phones.
