I’ve been using this Philips skype phone for a few months now. It’s an attractive handset with good DECT capabilities as a landline. As a skype phone, the main positive aspect of this phone is that you can make skype calls without being tied to your PC. The sound quality is good and the hadset is somewhat ergonomic so you can have a long conversation without discomfort. The con of this handset is that you still need to connect the phone to a PC to connect to skype. Although I’m fine with that a few friends have raised a valid point that it might be better ecologically-speaking to get a skype phone that is independent from a PC to save on energy and resources. As it is, though, I’m satisfied with this phone and am not in the market to replace it in the near future. Regards Liz Cooke |
