Very good idea and very simple to use the Belkin phone has made talking to the states quite a lot easier. Not given 5 stars because it's not great with a low signal connection so i have to be near the router box to get uninterrupted service. Otherwise very good product especially for the electronically challenged such as myself!

My phone works OK. I get the well known message WIFI CONNECTION CANNOT CONNECT TO INTERNET but I click OK and it connects and works fine. Some people say that this is because this phone does not correctly support WPA-PSK TKIP. Well, I am not changing my router setup so I'll live with it.
I find the user interface very strange. Dial a phone number manually and you have to erase every number one at a time before it lets you back to the menu system. Would I buy one again, yes but I'd like them to finish the software first please Regards Pete

Works great, freezes up sometimes. Biggest dissapointment is that it can't be used in most hot spots as user ID and password is required and this phone can't do that

Partial connection Only,

The Skype phone would connect to my wirless router but the message WIFI CONNECTION CANNOT CONNECT TO INTERNET has so far prevented me from getting started with calls using Skype. The support from Ligo was non-existant so I have resorted to Belkin who are assisting in stages I hope. The next set of instructions from them may allow me a working phone.

Belkin Wifi Phone for Skype,

The phone was easy to set up - I bought 2 - one for myself and one for my wifes Skype account - both were set up in minutes. We use Skype a lot for our business, communicating with remotely based designers around the world.
In use they are generally good, but have occasionally frozen - and are not responsive - and we sometimes have difficulty with sound quality - a wifi issue I assume - and callers cannot hear us properly and visa versa - an issue we didnt have with USB Skype phones. However, the benefits outweigh being tied to the desk by a USB cable. I would recommend - but for important calls a USB phone is better. I've not tried it outside the office area yet but will do as we have a large number of wifi zones round us. Regards Mr. James Blundell Feel Design
