Living in a large house where coverage is a must, the KX-TG 7124 does just that. These handsets are sensible and self-explanatory. Sound quality is good and range is superb. As for ergonomics, the handsets are relatively light, place well in the hand and are quite robust; the rubber buttons feel and function well.
Although not quite as aesthetically pleasing and feature packed as the later, more expensive models, which I was initially interested in, this bundle at this price still performs above expectation.
I might add that the base unit coexists next to a wireless router and neither has suffered although I still wouldn’t recommend this setup. I might also add that my old Aunt, who refuses to learn anything new, has managed to get to grips with this new household demon.
Up until now I have not tried and tested the VoSky Skype VoIP, but I’m sure it does exactly as it says on the tin.

These telephones are much better than the similar BT ones I had before. They are easy to use, feel solid, and have reasonable range and good quality of sound.
I have not tried the VoSky router yet

The phones are excellent, but the Skype software for the phones does no work with Windows Vista at present.
