Thanks for fast delivery of this product exellent service, also I am not dissapointed with this phone it really is as easy as it says it is, just plug in and your away! Sound quality is first class and an easy phone to use, in my opinion its the best on the market

I have bought 3 of these and have had problems with 2 of them stuck in "system starting up" mode. This renders phone useless and is a hassle to reset (for non-techie mother on other side of world) and can occur randomly. Looks beautiful but not reliable as a desktop solution. Also doesn't support more than one caller. I wouldn't recommend unless you are tech savvie.

Does exactly what it says on the tin!! User friendly. It worked immediatedly and picked up all the info from my SKYPE account. No need to have the computer on which is a godsend when using a laptop etc.

This is a great investment. It has transformed my way of working. I never miss a call. and the quality is much better than going through my computer. Probably something to do with not having to go through various anti-menace software (Virus,spy,mal,ad etc) . It took 5 mins to set up. You can set it up whilst it is charging in the cradle if your are super eager, then let it charge overnight. Speaker phone is great for hands free. The range from the base station is better than my routers wi-fi range so I can take the phone any where around the house with me. Enjoy. I am.
p.s. If you need to check something with the Philips call centre - what a joy! English speaking, lateral thinking, and with a sense of humour. I wish other call centres were that good.
p.p.s. LiGO? I would gladly buy more stuff from them.

once set up, this is a great piece of kit for saving money by using skype to make all your calls from, and receive your calls in the normal way. The telephone tells you how much credit you have left SIMPLE!!

Basic setting up involves nothing more than connecting the base-station to the phone line and your network router, then putting power to the base-station and the charger. A router is a must, though. You can't use the Skype features if you connect to the net with an ADSL USB modem.

We make a lot of long-distance calls in my import-export company, and we recently switched to using skype to keep our costs down. Thing is, not everyone in the office has a workstation on hand to make calls, especially in our warehouse. We decided to try this telephone to give those without ready access to PCs. It definitely lives up to all its claims. Philips claims ease of use, sound quality, and the seamless integration of the regular landline and skype functions…and that’s exactly what we got.
Though some people may have qualms about the price, it’s as though you have 2 products in one for just £100+. If you think about it, some high-end designer cordless telephones and skype phones sell at about the same price, but you still have to connect them to a PC to use them. In the long run, this phone costs a lot less. Not to mention its sleek styling and finish, it looks very professional and elegant. My company is thinking of buying more units already.

This is an amazing phone! Just a quick look around the web on google shows so many good reviews of this product that I was more and more determined that I wanted to buy this. Since I’m an expat, I’ve been keeping in touch with my family through Skype (I don’t think I’ll ever make a long-distance landline call again, ever), but I could only use Skype at work (during lunch or coffee break) because I have internet connection problems with my PC in my rented flat. As soon as I heard about this phone, I was scouring the internet for the best deal, and I found it here on ligo. I ordered it straight away and it arrived the next day!
This product solved all of my Skype dilemmas! It was easy to install and I could use it right away. The sound quality is excellent, even for regular landline calls. There really is no learning curve to learn how to use it. The menu was very clear and simple to operate. Not to mention that it’s a very aesthetically pleasing phone. It looks great and works great!
My only annoyance was that Philips didn’t provide a printed manual inside the box, just a CD with a PDF. I paid good money for the product, and one manual would be just a fraction of the cost of this phone.

This is a great phone - It comprises all the elements that should be in a VoIP phone without having to leave your computer on. It integrates seamlessly with you PSTN phone system too making one phone capable of doing it all! A must!
