DualPhone 3058 review, 15th Jun 2007

I purchased the Dualphone as I wanted to have the freedom to contact Skype friends & family in New Zealand without the need to be in front of a PC. This has been a great addition. The on-screen display & sound quality is very good. The fact that the Dualphone can also be used as a normal landline 'phone gives me greater flexibility as well.

Fantastic sound quality, pretty screen and good range all at a very reasonable price. Skype Out was very easy to use with it and delivery was super quick. I would highly recommend it.

The installation was easy and the phone pretty much works as advertised. The problem with it is that it is simply too small for a desk phone. It is about the size of a mobile phone and the keys are very small and close together. For a desk phone you need something about twice as big. Size matters...

The installation disabled the PC speakers, but you can fix that in the skype setup. Having to type the country code before every skypeout number is a bit of a drag but not a showstopper.
