Great Service - again...,

Our second order for a further two of these phones from Ligo. Tried them through Sipgate but had a few problems with service disconecting and not connecting so I went through the setup wizard on the phone, Found Orbtalk, registered and have had no problems since. Connection from outside lines is instantaneous. The phones are great a good solid piece of kit I am going to buy more for home use now. Thanks to Ligo for superb service will definatly reccomend.

This item is working fine in our business. It has also eased the transition from fixed lines to voice over IP, as it can handle both at the same time.

I've just bought this phone after a bit of research and must say, it was an absolute doddle to setup. That was a good start as I was dreading it a bit. Secondly, the battery seems to last very well, I haven't had it plugged in for four days and it is still working. Thirdly, I used to route my voip calls through my landline phone, the call quality seems to be better with this one. Early days, but overall very pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely great! Easy to set up VoIP service, excellent sound quality. It works perfectly (I'm using it with Blueface).

I have been suprised just how good this phone is.
It does everything it says it should, I can now use one phone for viop and BT line. I've even pared up and old dect phone to the base unit and it works well as an additional handset. The only gripe i've got at the moment is that it won't let you use the Redial button while on a voip call so I can't transfer anyone to other line, (i'm still investigating options posted on the internet for this). Other than that i'd say it's been the best product i've blought this year good price great service easy to setup with trixbox (excellent call quality and the trixbox is across the internet, much better call quality than any msn/skype services i've used in the past, and it's cordless with hands free so you can just put it down and talk no problem. The only thing i still have trouble getting over is the fact that it's not costing me per minute to use the home phone. I know it's not as cheap as some voip phones but it's well worth the flexability it add to replace a home phone and voip into one unit. I would recoment buying it from ligo to anyone. This was by far the simplest VOIP phone I've ever had to setup. I was amazed at how good the cordless functionality was, worked a treat. I signed up with www.sipgate.co.uk. Top class phone, recommend to anyone.

we have three stores accross Staffordshire and Cheshire and were looking for a reliable way of communicating with the lowest cost. This product is very easy to use and setup giving very easy VOIP calls for free as well as saving space by also being connected to the BT line. Service from Ligo was excellent all the staff we have spoken to are extremely friendly and eager to help. Thanks Ligo...

I have been testeing and therefore purchasing several phones and types, in order to configure my VOIP setup at home. The Gigaset was so far the best choice. Easy you can configure different providers rather than sticking to unreliable Skype (they have problems currently to assign local number for the regions of Germany and Austria). The configuration goes easy, quick and you can straight start to use the services. Only critic would be from my point of view the cheap appearance of the phone (feels like light plastic all over), but there you go... you can't have everything. Delivery and Service by liGO is quick and accurate. Therefore a good choice to take.

This is an excellent product - setup out of the box was in five minutes. Siemens build quality is very good. Now have only one set of cordless handsets where I had two and able to seperate work from home. Second produduct bought form Ligo and wouldn't hesitate recommending them via Amazon storefront.

This siemens handset is great. Instructions are clear, super simple to use and configure. The IP configuration is straightforward and you can do it either from the web admin or the handset itself.
I strongly recommend to update the bios when you have it installed in the network, it improves too much the use and options of the phone. Ligo's service was also great, fast and efficient. Regards Renato Golin

Great phone, great range a few bugs with voice mail but should be fixed soon. much much better solution than a normal dect through a voip gateway..

I am very happy with this phone - audio quality is very good - in fact better than when I used my PC to make calls using VOIP. I can recommend the phone, even though it took me some initial configuring of the phone and router to actually make it connect via SIP.

I ordered this product as I wanted to VoIP enable my current DECT phones, which works perfectly, except for being able to hear yourself (echo) if using the landline.
Features I feel are missing from this product are distinctive ring over VoIP, every method I've tryed results in the phones not making any sound when ringing and the ability to dial individual phones based on there DECT ID from VoIP (all phones ring all the time). Other then the things listed above I'd recommend this product. Regards Mr. Palmer

Great phone, great signal coverage. 2 issues; you can only configure 1 SIP provider at a time. I enquired at Siemens to see if they would be make a firmware update that offered multiple SIP 'lines' but they said it can't be done on this model. Another useful feature would have been contact synchronisation / editing via the 'web configurator' interface via PC. Nonetheless, a quality phone, and 10/10 for value for money. Lido service recomended, would buy from them again.

Just to say I was very impressed with the level of service from Ligo Electronics. I had the phone within a few days, excellent!
I had primarily bought this as an IP phone since I had an account with voip discount. I was hesitant in purchasing at first in that my SIP/VOIP provider wasn't listed in any review so I was unsure whether it would work. However the info stated that you could set it manually as well if your provider wasn't listed. I took the plunge and to be honest I am very impressed with the handset. It has a solid heavy feel to it and is well built (unlike my binatone dect phone!!). The hardest part in all this was actually setting up the phone to work on my adsl wireless modem router. At first I just could not get it to work as the instruction book was not very consise in some settings (and my voip provider was pretty crap at showing how its settings needed to be set on the phone). The Siemens website was a nightmare to navigate and it did not help me at all and even finding the right telephone no. for support was a minefield. Trawling the internet for help was also a wasted evening. Eventually I managed to get it working more by luck than anything else and since then I've never looked back. The sound is excellent and the other parties can't tell I'm going through the internet to make the call. Where as before I had to lug my laptop around while phoning via ausb phone I can just pick up the phone and dial from anywhere its brilliant!! The beauty of this is that you can switch to using your normal landline very easily but I am solely using it for the voip. I would have given it 5 stars but the manual and the siemens website support let it down (as well as my voip being not having very good customer support). But once working I'd give it 10 stars!! Product itself seems very good; perhaps somewhat clunky to a mobile phone user, but the engineering quality, function and interface are all sweet enough. I bought with GN headset - you have to specifically transfer calls to other hand/headsets. Some of the most useful information is hidden deep in the manual, and the full manual doesn't actually exist online at Siemens as directed. Also buying VoIP credit (cheaply) is stupidly difficult in this day and age. It WILL NOT WORK with SKYPE (different technology). So it's a bit of a pain to get fully up and running, but now my 6year old can call Australia unsupervised for free!
