Press # twice for Skype; oh, then wait for a new dialling tone; oh, and then remember to put 0044 in front of each number; oh, and then remember to drop the zero from the number you are calling (if you still remember it!); oh, then wait for an age to get through and if the line's engaged bear in mind that it may not be...you may have got the routine wrong, especially the pause between dialling tones. And if your fingers are all thumbs, forget it with the tiny push buttons. Hey, ho, that's modern technology for you. All said and done, however, it does mean that you may use Skype remotely and save a fortune, so these phones are as good as any. At the price, they ought to be; sound and reception is very clear and once connected the system works well. Hence 3 ex 5 despite the whining. Regards John McLusky |
