The Cisco IP Phone 7960G is a second-generation, full-featured IP phone primarily for manager and executive needs. It provides six programmable line/feature buttons and four interactive soft keys that guide a user through call features and functions. The Cisco IP Phone 7960G also features a large, pixel-based LCD display. The display provides features such as date and time, calling party name, calling party number, and digits dialed. The graphic capability of the display allows for the inclusion of present and future features. The Cisco 7960G is dynamic and designed to grow with system capabilities. Features will keep pace with new changes via software updates to the phone's flash memory. The phone provides many accessibility methods according to user preference. Various methods or paths include buttons, softkeys, a navigation key, and direct access with the use of corresponding digits.

• The Cisco 7960 is the full-featured Cisco IP telephone for executives and managers. It provides 6 programmable line and speed dial buttons, the 7940 with 2 buttons for business professionals and office workers with lower traffic applications. Both include full-duplex speakerphone with lighted microphone mute button. A pixel LCD display features information such as date and time, calling party name, calling party number, and digits dialed and XML capable of graphics. A unique LED message waiting lamp shows brightly to indicate ringing and message waiting status.
• The Cisco 7910 and 7910+SW are the Cisco IP telephones designed for low-end, low-traffic requirements such as cubical hallway, break room, and other areas not requiring high-end features. These two models are single line voice instruments. The phones have a 2 x 24 Character LCD display for call status and identification.
• DHCP support for Cisco IP telephones makes phone setup virtually automatic. With DHCP new installations can be accomplished in seconds, saving time and money over today's PBX system management.
• Moving Cisco IP telephones saves additional time and money because it requires no manual database adjustments or wiring changes. The phones can be moved from one 10BASE-T (7910) or 10/100BASE-T port to another anywhere on the enterprise IP network. Cisco IP telephones will automatically boot and reregister with Cisco CallManager.
• Cisco IP telephones are Microsoft NetMeeting enabled. Using NetMeeting, features such as application sharing and video conferencing are available simply by pressing a button on your Cisco IP telephone.
• All models use Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) to enable power down the LAN thus eliminating the need for a local power transformer cube.
