Digital Extension

One of the top of the range telephones in the Siemens OptiPoint 500 range is the Siemens OptiPoint 500 advance system telephone. It is compatible with the Siemens Hicom and Hipath telephone systems but has to be connected to a digital extension set up for this type of telephone. If it is plugged into a socket not set up for a Siemens OptiPoint 500 telephone it will not work.

OptiPoint with 19 Programmable Keys

The Siemens OptiPoint 500 advance system phone has 19 programmable keys that the user can set as they require. It has the most amount of keys on any of the Siemens OptiPoint 500 system telephones and the LED lights will also visually indicate whether it is busy or not.

Duplex Handsfree Speaker

Also the handsfree speaker on the Siemens OptiPoint 500 advance is a fully duplex speaker that lets the conversation flow both ways without clipping. This is sometimes found on telephones that are not fully duplex as the speaker and microphone can not work at the same time.

Backlit LCD Screen

The Siemens OptiPoint 500 advance system phone is also the only telephone in the range that has a backlit display. This makes the screen very easy to read even in the darkest of rooms. Also the navigation keys on the OptiPoint 500 phone make scrolling through the menus very easy as well.
