The Siemens OptiPoint 500 Economy phone is a digital system telephone for the Siemens Hicom and Hipath systems. It does need the extension it is being plugged into to be compatible with the Siemens OptiPoint 500 range as it will not work in any other type of extension or telephone line.

OptiPoint with LCD Display

The Siemens OptiPoint 500 Economy system telephone is the first phone in the range to have an LCD display. This means that the user will see information such as the incoming number etc.

On Hook Dial

The Siemens OptiPoint 500 Economy system phone has a loud speaker to enable the user to listen to a call and not have to pick up the handset. If someone is engaged it is then faster to disconnect and dial again, or if you are stuck in a call queue you can still listen and carry on with other activities.

12 Programmable Keys

On the Siemens OptiPoint 500 Economy system phone are 12 programmable buttons that the user can set to there preference. It stops the need for multiple button presses for things such as extension numbers. Also as the Siemens Opitpoint 500 Economy system phone has LED lights on these buttons you can also tell if it is in use or not at a glance.
