Digital Extension

When connecting the Siemens OptiPoint 500 entry system telephones they need to be plugged into a digital telephone extension specifically designed for an OptiPoint 500 digital telephone. If you try and connect them to another type of extension or telephone line then the telephone will not work.

8 Programmable Keys

The Siemens OptiPoint 500 Entry system telephone has 8 programmable keys that the user can set to there preference. It stops the need for multiple button presses to do the same thing the press of this one button will do. There are also LED lights on these buttons so if for example another extension that was programmed into a button was in use, that particular button would have a lit LED.

On Hook Dial

The loud speaker on the Siemens OptiPoint 500 entry system phone will also allow the user to listen to the telephone call and then pick up the handset when they need to speak. This is very useful if you are stuck in a queuing system and want to be able to carry on with your work instead of holding the telephone handset.
