MOTOROLA T6222/T5512/T5522 EARBUD WITH PTT MICROPHONE REVIEW
Please help others like you with just one click! Just click 'yes' or 'no' to indicate if a review you read was helpful. This information is invaluable to us. This earbud does exactly whay it's meant to in terms of delivering the sound to your ear with the added benefit of a push to talk.
There are a couple of things that I don't think are quite perfect - the distance between the earbud and PTT is a bit long, which means that the distance from PTT to radio is a bit short - I use them for biking so the radio goes in my backpack and this isn't too convienent with a short lead. The second small gripe is that the PTT button is a little small so may be a bit difficult with gloves on (thinking of skiing etc). Regards Simon I bought a pair of Motorola's excellent TALKR5 walkie talkies recently for my wife & I to use on our mountian bikes trips. So we could tuck them into our daypacks, away from rain & impact damage, I bought these T5522 earphones. Whilst there is nothing wrong with them there hasn't been much though gone into their design either. Two huge improvements would be 1/ the use of a mini jack on the ptt/mic bulb so one could choose to use an ear bud type earphone or one that at least fits my ear and doesn't fall out every two seconds! 2/ A 'voice activated' as well as a ptt mic so the unit could be stowed whilst still remain fully functional.
