Being a professional pest controller, these radios have proved to be very useful. We’ve used them at a range of up to a mile or so in open country and at the top of office blocks while carrying out bird netting with another man on the ground below. Excellent build quality and great value for money. The only niggle I have is that somehow, occasionally (when in my pocket while I’m crawling along on my belly in a muddy field) the “channel-lock” feature becomes “unlocked”, making you have to switch back to your desired channel manually.
