I bought this new model for my two boys and their friends to play with in the garden ,park etc. without reading the instrustions they set off with their pals and were busy for hours . they didnt nead ant help setting up as they found the scan button easily. this is a great set easily fits into palm of your hand and the signals good. havent tested it out over long distances yet.
