These things are amazing! I've tried 3 different monitors, and all received interference from somewhere - but these are crystal clear, incredibly easy to use, sensitive to even the slightest sound, and have one hell of a range. You can even buy an extra handset to use as a walkie-talkie...!

We have had a Tomy baby monitor which was a waste of time, half the time it wouldn't pick up the transmitter even in the house never mind the garden. Also when it did work the was interference. So in the end we switched to the Doro BM35. Reception is excellent inside and out. The BMR35 only transmits when there is a noise from the baby. It has other good features such as keypad lock, the transmitter doesn't switch off if the parent unit is off and there is a small torch on it. A great product at a great price.

Very effective we live on a small holding and it works well when I am helping out in the sheds a distance from the house.

I'm just ordering another set so that one set can stay in the bedroom and one downstairs .. with the added bonus that Amanda can call me for help using the walkie-talkies when I at the other end of our very large garden!

Average monitor, with good range

We live in a fairly built up area and the range quoted (3km) isn't achievable in fact it's a fraction of that at approximately 500m. This may increase to the quoted range in more open areas. Also even at the lowest volume the background noise picked up on the receiver unit can be loud especially at night.

Great range compared to our other monitor. It works throughout the house (thick walls etc.). The reasons I didn't give it top marks are the lowest listening volume is too loud and there is not two way communication - but on the other hand that stops any unnecessary noise for the baby from interference. Its a great product!
