Walkie Talkie Fan Miss H Waters 5/5

Found the two-way radio a god-send on my recent ski trip. Lots of frequencies and channels so you can alway find a clear line and great coverage across the mountain. Was especially useful when I got injured and had to stay at the chalet - was able to call boyfriend over 2000m up mountain to come and meet me for lunch. Would recommend this product to anyone who skis/boards but would also be useful for other sports - we'll be using them for mountain biking as well.

Useful and fun Anonymous 5/5

I used these on a recent sonwboarding holiday, some friends had the 5522s which were fine but I prefer the styling of the 5622s - plus the vibrating alert helps when you can't hear the alert tone. Robust, water proof and a damn site cheaper than using mobiles to keep in contact on the other side of the atlantic. May be worth noting that the charger doesn't work on 110v though. I ran them with AAs for two weeks, only needed to change them three times.

Talkabout T5622 Mrs. WJ Taylor 4/5

Easy to use for one channel but a little complicated to program for multiple channels. Some interference from local army comms, though interesting at times! Good clear communicationwith variable volume control.

Motorola T5622 Anonymous 4/5

We use these radios because of their range. We have some staff working in a basement area enclosed by masses of concrete at least 2m thick in some places, and other staff across the road in another massive old building. The radios are able to communicate where mobile phones do not work. Of course the sound quality degrades in those places, but they still work!

Motorola T5622 Rob T 4/5

Very easy to use, these worked really well on a recent snowboarding trip. The only problem I had was when putting them in a pocket as the volume knob tended to get knocked so you couldn't hear anything. Otherwise highly recommended.

Much Improved Anonymous 5/5

I already own a set of T5522 two way radios which have served me well whilst snowboarding. The T5622's improve on this with increased battery life and a memory that is able to store frequency settings once the batteries have died, and being water resistant means dropping them in the snow isn’t something you have to worry about. Overall probably the best sub £100 two way on the market!
